NORTHERN PANTANAL & ATLANTIC FOREST 9/2026 – STAY TUNED, DETAILS COMING SOON
Brazil is a dream come true for any wildlife photographer. I keep returning again and again to the northern and southern Pantanal, and in 2025 I added a third treasure – the Atlantic Forest. For 2026, I’m preparing another adventure. This time we’ll connect the northern Pantanal with the Atlantic Forest into one unforgettable journey. Expect jaguars and more than 100 bird species, from kingfishers and toucans to hummingbirds, tanagers, and many more. I’m confident this will be another truly epic expedition. Full details will follow soon. To ensure maximum comfort, the group is limited to only 6 participants. Pantanal 2026
Will you be running a trip next year Petr ?
Hello, Peter,
I have been reading your blog for a long time, I especially liked your photos from Costa Rica, tell me, are you planning to organize a photo tour there similar to the Pantanal? I work as a teacher at Moscow University, and, unfortunately, I have strict time limits for vacation. In spring, this is the period approximately between 26.04 and 13.05, when there are many holidays in Russia.
I was planning to visit Paraguay and Brazil during this period, can you recommend me, does it make sense to come to the Pantanal during this period and if so, which places are worth visiting there and which animals can actually be photographed compared to your tour in early June? I would be very grateful to you for information on this issue. For my part, I can offer you to visit a unique place in Siberia with me – about 1000 whooper swans winter on an unfrozen lake, the water temperature is +6 Celsius, the air is from -20 to -48 Celsius. I have been visiting this place for 8 years, 3 weeks every year. I attach some of my photos from there.
best wishes
Kirill
